Hitler comes to Power
Before Hitler gained power, in the early 1930s there was a worldwide economic depression and this affected Germany greatly, with millions out of jobs. To make things worse the defeat in World War I was still in the minds of many and this made the Germans have a lack in confidence for their government and this gave Adolf Hitler the perfect opportunity to come in a take over and gain power with help from his party called the National Socialist German Workers or more commonly known as the Nazi's. In the 1932 election the Nazi's won 33 percent of the votes, more then any of the other parties. This led to Hitler being appointed the chancellor, the head of German Government, in January 1933 and many Germans believed that he would be the savior for their country.
