The Countries Hitler Took Over
The first country that Hitler took over was Germany as he attempted to become the president of Germany and he succeeded in what he was trying to do and this lead to the Nazi's winning the vote for the president spot. On September 1, 1939 the German's began taking over the Eurasian Heartland, also taking over Poland using their, Lighting invasion or Blitzkrieg, tactics to take them out quickly. After taking over Poland the German's started killing the Jewish men and the Polish intelligentsia. Following France and England declaring war on Germany, he turned his attack to the West were he used the lighting tactic again and took over Denmark in 1940 and Norway was also taken in an operation to take over. In May and June of 1940 Germany rapid tank attack meant that they would defeat France and the low Countries. After the dominant run that Germany was on they were finally beaten in June 1941 the Germans made a new tactic called 'Operation Barbarossa' which was the attack on Russia but it was later that they started to get pushed back by the Russian Soldiers and this led to Russia and Western Allies to start attacking Germany and this was Adolf Hitler's last war he fought.
